Not going to lie... I totally, completely, 100% forgot about doing a photo on that day. Luckily, I'd taken a few iPhone photos while we were at the park!
The kids and I took a picnic lunch up to the park. Landon is a little monkey these days (which translates into scaring his mama!). Kelsey is a copycat - she has to do whatever her big brother is doing.

Landon had his opthamologist appointment. The doctor didn't find any reason for his headaches, but did say that he is slightly nearsighted... not enough for glasses now, but he'll need them by 1st or 2nd grade.

Nutter Mutters - 11/11/11
Today while we were driving, someone cut me off pretty sharply. I hit my horn for just long enough to make it clear that their idiotic driving was not appreciated. Landon piped up from the back seat, "Mom, you have to say stupid."
I wasn't sure what he meant, so I asked, "What do you mean, bud?"
"When you do that, you have to say stupid, too," he clarified.
I went from irritated (at the driver who cut me off) to hysterics instantaneously. When I was done laughing, I tried to explain to him that it wasn't nice of Mommy to call people stupid and that I shouldn't do that. He helpfully absolved me of all guilt by explaining, "It's okay, Mommy - Daddy does it, too."

365 Photo Project: Day 309
I love this guy. He plays the water glasses in Old Town Alexandria. I've seen him before and was hoping he'd be there tonight... and he was!
365 Photo Project: Day 307
This picture is kind of hard to explain - it was an accident. I was attempting to take a macro shot of a purple vase with intricate engraving in it... I didn't end up getting a good focus on the engraving (you can see it, blurry, in the front of the photo. However, I got an awesome reflection from the purple vase... you can see me taking the photo, as well as the entertainment center the vase was sitting in. The reflection was warped due to the shape of the vase. I love the result, even though it was an accident.
