We're watching "Maria" tonight (as Landon calls it). I was being silly and took this a picture of the TV screen. :)

Sidewalk chalk in macro, while we were outside this evening.

We went out to play after dinner tonight and saw a couple bees flying around. Landon kept pointing out the bees, or as he calls them, the "Buzzy Buzzy Bees".

Landon's Buzz Lightyear Lego Duplo man. He has Jessie, too. He did have Woody, but he flushed him down the toilet a few days ago. Yeah.

He's home again!

Just a unique way to get all three of us in the shot. Another iPhone photo! :)

During our adventures yesterday, we went to a really nice little park for the kids to roam and play. Landon found a pair of abandoned sunglasses that he tried on as he had broken his own. I thought he looked pretty cool!

The kids and I went to the air show today (Joint Services Open House @ Andrews AFB). We had a great time and I, as usual, LOVED watching the Thunderbirds.
I love remembering going to the air shows with my parents when I was young, knowing that I'm giving my kids those same memories (well, Landon is old enough to start remembering certain things, anyway).

I was lazy today and took the elevator since the loooong escalator was broken.

Landon's markers on the table while he was coloring.

A skylight in the architecture of the (aboveground) metro station.

My Mitters :)

I've actually taken a few of these types of shots for the project lately, but always used another one for that day. It was the best I took yesterday.

We went to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday because Landon filled his behavior chart with smiley faces and earned his reward. While we were eating, we discovered Kelsey preferred a whole piece of pizza to cut pieces. After she finished her piece, Justin offered her a bite of his... and had a hard time convincing her to give it back!

Just a boring shot of the flag that I jazzed up in Photoshop. I love you, Adobe! :)

The kids and I stopped at the park yesterday after I picked them up. We weren't there long because Landon announced that he had to go potty. When I told him we had to go home so he could use the bathroom, he changed his mind and ended up throwing a tantrum as I made him get in the car so he wouldn't pee his pants. He was fine after he calmed down and we talked it out.
Kelsey has always cried a lot, but for some reason, yesterday she seemed more toddler-like, complete with tantrums of her own. She's so adorable... starting to use a spoon and pointing to things (with all of her fingers, not just the pointer) that she wants.
Speaking of Kelsey, yesterday's photo is one I took of her at the park. I just love the shape of her head and the outline of her face. She looks SO much like her Daddy.

An apple a day...

Landon and Kelsey playing with sidewalk chalk together this evening. I love watching them interact as siblings. :)

Daddy and Landon at bedtime. :)
(I surrendered and used my iPhone for today's picture, then edited it like I do the ones from my camera.)

Happy Mother's Day! The kids and I spent some time outside today playing with sidewalk chalk. We had a lot of fun!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Xena's eye, and a self-portrait of sorts. :)

Nationals Park from DOT.

Justin driving us home tonight after dinner at Golden Corral.

Just heavenly. Doesn't it look like you could just lay back and relax on that cloud?

This is the main entrance to the building I work in in DC.

Just me... it was one of those days. :)

This spider has taken up residence in my knife block. That will need to be remedied ASAP.

Beautiful Xena! :) This cat is so good to the kids. She's such a sweetheart.
